Frequently Asked Questions

  • 1. What does my membership include?

Your membership provides access to the resources for your selected grade, including structured video lessons, practice homework, unit tests, detailed full solutions, exam-review materials, scheduled live exam-review sessions, and The Physics Academy community for questions and discussion.

  • 2. How much does membership cost?

Monthly membership is $50 CAD per month. The Semester Pass is $99 CAD as a one-time payment, with access through February 5, 2027. Both options include the same learning resources and support for your selected grade.

  • 3. What is the difference between monthly membership and the Semester Pass?

Both options provide the same resources and benefits for your selected grade. Monthly membership offers flexible access through recurring monthly payments. The Semester Pass provides access for the entire high school fall semester through February 5, 2027, with one upfront payment and no monthly billing.

  • 4. Can I cancel my membership, and are purchases refundable?

You may cancel a monthly membership at any time to prevent future renewals, and you will retain access until the end of your current paid billing period. Initial Monthly Membership purchases without a free trial and initial Semester Pass purchases are eligible for a full refund requested within 24 hours, subject to our refund conditions. Payments after a free trial, monthly renewals, and purchases outside the 24-hour window are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for full conditions, including the bulk-download exception.

  • 5. Who is The Physics Academy for?

The Physics Academy supports students taking Ontario Grade 11 or Grade 12 physics. It is designed for students who want clearer explanations, additional practice, test and exam preparation, or the flexibility to revisit challenging topics at their own pace.

  • 6. Do I need to follow a fixed schedule?

No. Video lessons and practice materials are organized by unit and available for you to work through at your own pace during your access period. Live exam-review sessions are the only scheduled component, and their dates and access details will be announced to members in advance.

  • 7. Can I get help if I’m stuck?

Yes. Start with the detailed full solutions to review the reasoning behind each question. If you still need help, you can bring your question to The Physics Academy community, discuss ideas with other students, and receive feedback from participating instructors.

  • 8. Does this replace my school physics course?

No. The Physics Academy is a supplementary learning platform designed to support your school course. It can help you revisit explanations, practise independently, and prepare for tests and exams, but it does not provide an Ontario secondary-school credit.
