Behind The Physics Academy

Built to Take Physics Understanding to the Next Level

The Physics Academy was created by a team with backgrounds in Ontario engineering and physics education, supported by years of tutoring experience.

We designed this structured and organized learning platform to help students move beyond memorizing formulas and develop a deeper, more confident understanding of physics. Every resource is built to strengthen problem-solving skills, close learning gaps, and help students reach the next level in their physics education.

 Units

Complete Grade 12 Support

Comprehensive support across all ten units, developing the advanced concepts, calculations, and problem-solving skills students need throughout Ontario Grade 12 Physics.

The program reinforces essential foundations while preparing students for tests, final exams, and physics-based post-secondary programs.

01

Kinematics

Analyze advanced motion using vectors, equations, graphs, projectiles, and relative velocity.

02

Forces and Dynamics

Apply Newton’s laws through force analysis, free-body diagrams, friction, and connected systems.

03

Work, Energy and Power

Solve advanced problems involving work, energy transformations, conservation, power, and efficiency.

04

Momentum and Collisions

Examine impulse, momentum conservation, and one- and two-dimensional collisions.

05

Circular Motion and Gravitation

Connect circular dynamics with universal gravitation, satellites, orbital motion, and planetary systems.

06

Harmonics

Explore periodic motion, springs, pendulums, restoring forces, and energy in simple harmonic motion.

07

Waves and Sound

Investigate wave behaviour, interference, standing waves, resonance, sound, and the Doppler effect.

08

Electric Circuits

Analyze current, voltage, resistance, electrical power, and increasingly complex circuit arrangements.

09

Electric Fields and Magnetism

Study electric and magnetic fields, forces, potential, induction, and the motion of charged particles.

Grade 12 Membership FAQs

Everything you need to know before choosing your Grade 12 access.

  • 1. What is included in the Grade 12 Physics Membership?

The membership includes structured video lessons, practice homework, unit tests, detailed full solutions, exam-review materials, scheduled live exam-review sessions, and access to The Physics Academy community for questions and support.

  • 2. Does the program follow the Ontario Grade 12 Physics curriculum?

Yes. The program covers the central concepts, calculations, and problem-solving skills taught in Ontario Grade 12 Physics across ten organized units. It also reinforces essential foundations while preparing students for tests, final exams, and physics-based post-secondary programs.

  • 3. What is the difference between the Monthly Membership and the Semester Pass?

Both options include the same Grade 12 resources and support. The Monthly Membership is $50 CAD per month and remains active while subscribed. The Semester Pass is $99 CAD as a one-time payment, with access through Friday, February 5, 2027, and no monthly billing.

  • 4. Can I cancel my membership, and are purchases refundable?

You may cancel a monthly membership at any time to prevent future renewals, and you will retain access until the end of your current paid billing period. Initial Monthly Membership purchases without a free trial and initial Semester Pass purchases are eligible for a full refund requested within 24 hours, subject to our refund conditions. Payments after a free trial, monthly renewals, and purchases outside the 24-hour window are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for full conditions, including the bulk-download exception.

  • 5. Do students need to follow a fixed schedule?

No. Lessons and practice materials are organized by unit, allowing students to follow the complete learning path or focus on the unit currently being taught at school. Video lessons can be paused, replayed, and reviewed whenever needed. Live exam-review sessions are the only scheduled component, and their dates and access details will be announced to members in advance.

  • 6. What support is available when a student gets stuck?

Students can begin with the detailed full solutions to review the calculations and reasoning behind each problem. If they still need help, they can ask questions in The Physics Academy community, discuss challenging concepts with other students, and receive instructor support.

  • 7. Does this membership replace my school physics course?

No. The Physics Academy is a supplementary learning platform designed to support a student’s school course. It provides additional explanations, independent practice, test and exam preparation, and ongoing support, but it does not issue an Ontario secondary-school credit.
